Sadly this is the last piece of my beautiful heart-shaped oak that has had as much love and time spent on cutting, sanding and oiling with Clarks Orange and Lemon Extract, over the past 12 months as to making the special hare inside.

The hare sits on the wood with it’s front paws resting on the counter and back paws flying through the air.  Designed to set off the wood, with its ears set into the gaps giving it its unique style.

Made from raku clay and glazed in a crystallised light brown colour, the crystals ‘pop’ to give it a unique colour.  It would make a lovely feature particularly on a round table, or kitchen island, it could even be displayed outside (but would need to be brought inside during the winter months).  The ultimate heart shaped gift of love!

The hare can be removed from the wood for transport.
